Hayden Kays in London

Hayden Kays in London

<p>Born and raised Londoner, Hayden Kays steps onto the world stage, representing a new generation of Pop artists. He walks in the footsteps of Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, and other Young British Artists. Hayden Kays is a painter, sculpture and printmaker that blurs the lines between street art and traditional visual culture.</p><p>He embraces the power of written words and creates art that opens doors and opens our minds. The contemporary artist uses his modern wit to reflect on society and free the judgments that might collect in the corners of closed minds.</p><p><em>"Everything that happens, happens because of love"</em></p><p>Through his art, Kays comments on the capitalist culture that rules the world. His reflections are sarcastic and absurd but always most certainly revealing a truth.</p>

In addition to the highly informative and extensive collection of major figures in modern pop art, I was impressed by the pristine interior. The colourful displays of works by famous artists provided great inspiration whilst helping me relax.

Fantastic modern art museum. Lots of pop art and great exhibits and installations from some well known artists. Lots of bold colours, a feast for the eyes. Great ticket price too. Not too crowded, always an important factor when visiting galleries / art museums. Best museum I’ve been to in a while.

I loved it. Exciting, memorable, inspiring. There are artists whose work I would’ve never discovered otherwise — like Robbie Williams’ creations beyond music… amazing! I truly hope more and more big cities will have something like this.
