What’s New at Moco Museum Barcelona
From December 16, 2025, Moco Museum Barcelona unveils the most significant update to its Banksy collection since opening. Three new works, all authenticated by Pest Control, Banksy’s official authentication body, join the permanent display.
The new works include:
- Madonna and Child (2024) — A fresh addition that reinterprets religious iconography through Banksy’s signature lens of social commentary
- Happy Choppers (Crude Oil) (2024) — A work that addresses military power and its relationship to natural resources
- Bullet Hole Bust (2006) — A powerful earlier work that confronts violence and the human cost of conflict
These new acquisitions join existing highlights in the collection including Girl with Balloon (Gold), Love is in the Air (Red), and Laugh Now Panel B, creating one of the most comprehensive presentations of Banksy’s work in any European museum.
