Through expressive, often magnified sculptures, Salcedo explores identity, vulnerability, and the gap between what we feel internally and what we present to the outside world.</p>
Who is Samuel Salcedo?
Born in Barcelona in 1975, the artist Samuel Salcedo trained in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona before continuing his studies at Manchester Metropolitan University. A formative period in the studio of renowned artist Jaume Plensa played a role in shaping his artistic development.
